Prayers

When you pray, you should pray effectively by using scriptures. Praying with God’s word is praying the will of God. 1 John 5:14 says, “And this is the confidence that we have in Him: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hear us.” Pray God’s words aloud and pray the prayers on this website out loud. The reason is because the enemy is the prince of the air and your prayers are powerful.

Hebrews 4:12 says, “For the Word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” God wants you to remind him of his word. Isaiah 55:11 says, “So shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth; It shall not return to me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”

Proverbs 18:21 says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” Once you pray for something, you should speak positive words so you will not give the enemy any power in your life and have any setbacks to your prayers from being answered. Once you pray, you should switch over to praise and start thanking God for answering your prayer.

You can pray the prayers on this website as often as you need to just to remind God of his word. Matthew 7:7 says, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” Don’t pray the problem but pray the solution or the end result. God already knows the problem before you even come to him. Before you pray, you have to make sure you have a relationship with God.

Alcoholism

I will not become intoxicated with Alcohol.

Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: I will not be deceived thereby I am wise.

God does not lead me into evil.

I refuse to be like Noah when he became drunk, it resulted in immorality and family trouble (Genesis 9:20-26).

I refuse to be drunk because it could led to immorality like Lot when he became intoxicated (Genesis 19:30-38).

God I will live holy like your priests. You commanded priests not to drink so that they could tell the difference between the holy and the unholy (Leviticus 10:9-11).

Lord, let my ways please you. Your word tells me about a drunken son who was stubborn and rebellious (Deuteronomy 21:20).

Intoxicating wine is like the poison of serpents, the cruel venom of asps (Deuteronomy 32:33).

Drinking too much alcohol can be fatal. Nabal died after a drunken spree (1 Samuel 25:32-38).

Drinking alcohol weakens my alertness and makes me vulnerable to the enemy’s attacks.

Alcoholic drinks are called the wine of violence (Proverbs 4:17).

I will not live in poverty. Drunkenness causes poverty (Proverbs 23:21).

I will be an imitator of Christ. Drinking causes woe, sorrow, fighting, babbling, wounds without cause and red eyes (Proverbs 23:29-30).

God instructs me not to look at intoxicating drinks (Proverbs 23:31).

Alcoholic drinks bite like a serpent, sting like an adder (Proverbs 23:32).

I will be wise. Alcohol causes the drinker to have strange and adulterous thoughts, produces willfulness, and prevents reformation (Proverbs 23:33).

I am stable. Alcohol makes the drinker unstable (Proverbs 23:34).

I refused to let my perception be altered. Alcohol makes the drinker insensitive to pain so he does not perceive it as a warning. Alcohol is habit forming (Proverbs 23:35).

Kings, Princes, and others who rule and judge must not drink alcohol. Alcohol perverts good judgment (Proverb 31:4-5).

A land is blessed when its leaders do not drink (Ecclesiastes 10:17).

Woe to those who get up early to drink and stay up late at night to get drunk (Isaiah 5:11-12).

Woe to "champion" drinkers and "experts" at mixing drinks (Isaiah 5:22).

Drunken men stagger in their vomit (Isaiah 19:14).

Drinkers’ tables are covered with vomit and filth (Isaiah 28:8).

Lord, bless me to be like Daniel. Daniel refused the king’s intoxicating wine and was blessed for it along with his abstaining friends.

Intoxicating wine takes away intelligence (Hosea 4:11).

Drunkards awake to see God’s judgment (Joel 1:5).

A man is betrayed by wine (Habakkuk 2:5).

Woe to him that gives his neighbor drink (Habakkuk 2:15).

Drinking leads to shame (Habakkuk 2:16).

A drinking servant is unprepared for his Lord’s return (Matthew 24:48-51).

Christ warned against drunkenness (Luke 12:45).

I will not walk in drunkenness or immorality (Romans 13:13).

I will not do anything that will hurt your testimony as a believer (Romans 14:21).

Drunkards will not inherit the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:10).
